Birthing Stories about Children, Ideas, and Community
Tuesday, July 17, 6-8 p.m. @ Maple Street School

Birthing Stories about Children, Ideas, and Community is the last of three story circles scheduled this spring and summer as part of HomeGrown Stories, a project of the Prospect Lefferts Gardens Neighborhood Association and the Maple Street School. Co-sponsored by PLG Community Supported Agriculture, Birthing Stories will take place from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 17, at the Maple Street School, 21 Lincoln Road. The event will begin with a potluck dinner celebrating the arrival of a CSA in our neighborhood!

We hope to draw a group of Prospect Lefferts Gardens’ residents, old and new, to tell stories about “birthing”. In addition to literal birthing stories about babies, kittens, or tadpoles being born, we imagine stories about the birth of ideas, projects, art, music, and dreams, as well as stories about the birth of community, organizations, associations, gardens, new or renovated homes, restaurants, businesses, games, adventures, and friendships.

Please share potluck and good stories with us at the Maple Street School. Spread the word! Bring family! Bring friends!
